Webcam monitoring is designed to process on the student's device and send alert metadata, not raw webcam video. Phone workspace recordings may incidentally capture a student depending on setup, so teachers must give clear instructions and collect required consent.
No. Teachers choose the monitoring level. Some exams may use basic webcam and browser monitoring, while higher-stakes exams may require phone workspace monitoring.
The student should reconnect as soon as possible and follow the teacher's exam rules. Some activity may be interrupted, and teachers should review timing, submissions, and incident context before making decisions.
Some class or exam flows may allow joining with a code or teacher-provided link. Teachers can decide whether account creation, verification, or student identity information is required.

No. Alerts are indicators. Lighting, device position, network issues, accessibility needs, or ordinary movement can create false alerts. Teachers should review evidence and context before acting.
Trial exam phone recordings are generally deleted within 15 days. Paid plans and institutional agreements may define different retention windows for exam evidence or class recordings.
Authorized teacher or institution accounts can review recordings for exams they manage. Testanix support access should be limited to troubleshooting, security, legal, or abuse-response needs.
